The welding division is one of the important training divisions of the training center and laboratories, in which university students have been training for the first, second and third stages of various types of welding since its establishment in the early sixties of the last century and until now, where some advanced types of welding have been added to it as T welding.I.G, MIG and oxyacetylene welding.
The welding unit consists of training its students on various welding methods such as manual electric arc welding (Arc Welding), gas welding (gas Welding) (oxyacetylene) and electric arc welding protected by an inert gas represented by gases such as arconium and carbon dioxide, where arconium gas is used with welding machines with a tungsten electrode (T.I.G) and CO2 gas with machines (M.I.G) finally, electrical resistance welding, specifically spot Welding (Spot Welding).
