The plumbing division was established with the establishment of the university laboratories and the plumbing division is one of the basic divisions in the training center and laboratories being one of the most important methods used in the formation of metals such as turning, blacksmithing, plumbing and others. Plumbing is considered the most important of all these methods, in addition to being a final product, it therefore enters as the first stage in all other processes such as metalworking processes.it can be said that most metal products must enter plumbing as a stage in their production. Whereas the oldest methods used in the production of castings is sand plumbing, as it was used by the first Iraqis such as the Sumerians, Babylonians and Romans in the manufacture of their statues and weapons, and this method has many advantages, including the possibility of casting large-sized castings and very complex castings .
