Cars Division
The automotive division was established in 1961 within the higher Industrial Institute and was the first graduation course in the specialty of automobiles in 1967.the automotive division is considered the main pillar of the automotive engineering specialty, which is unique to the University of technology from the rest of the Universities of Iraq, where the automotive division receives all students of the first grades and all departments of the University and students of the second stage of the Departments of production engineering and Metallurgy and the Department of machinery and equipment engineering. In 1996, the evening study began at the Technological University, where the unit received students of the above stages in the evening study as well.the automotive division has already received students of the Nahrain University of engineering and science, the Technical College, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Department of design and the College of medical engineering, in addition to helping to complete a number of projects of students of some Iraqi universities. the automotive division holds dozens of courses for continuing education annually, in which hundreds of specialists from the government departments and the private sector participate.
